P.E. Curriculum

Higher Bebington Junior School
P.E. Curriculum

At Higher Bebington Junior School, our pupils access 2 hours of physical education a week using the Get Set 4 PE scheme of work as a basis for our lessons. In partnership with the Co-op Academy Bebington, the school works closely on improving the delivery and provision of P.E through CPD and support from their P.E. specialists.

Our school playground has recently been redeveloped to include a ‘Daily Mile’ track which is currently at the centre of a whole school competition. This has been linked the cycling ‘Tour of Britain’ as the route came past our school and a ‘HBJS Staycation’ theme looking at encompassing destinations from the local area .

Furthermore, the school provides a range of before and after school clubs which are led by both school staff, Full of Beans or other individual qualified sports coaches.
